Next Year’s Deadlines Won’t Know What Hit Them …

Christmas comes but once a year. But goodness, doesn’t it catch us out.

Rushing around like a Roadrunner with all engines at full warp speed, we find ourselves with too much to do and fast running out of road.

This year is no exception, and in the last week, we’ve been fielding panic calls about getting orders completed before the Christmas shutdown.

I’ve no doubt, they’ll all be fitted in, but it did get me thinking …

We eat, sleep, and breathe deadlines.

They lurk around every corner trying to surprise us, but our eyes are always tuned in to the radar to catch them before they open their bomb doors and drop their payload of panic.

So, I thought a promise is in order.

Next year, I’ll be sending out timely reminders so we can both avoid hitting the proverbial brick wall when there’s a bank holiday on the horizon.

I’ll do my best to avoid the boring as bat sh*t ‘railway platform announcements’ that no one can understand, let alone listen to.

But I will land in your inbox when appropriate to flag up any looming proverbial brown trouser moments.

But before I go, just a quick heads-up about our Christmas hours this year.

Our production unit will close on Friday, the 19th of December and will reopen on Friday, the 2nd of January.

However, the shop will stay open, and Emyr and I will be here to handle enquiries and orders until 12 noon on Christmas Eve.

Until next week.
