A touch of sightseeing in Kabul, anyone?

For most of us, the holidays are over.

Come rain or shine we’ve hit the road and explored the highways and byways of our beautiful countryside like we’ve never done before.

The more intrepid have braved flights to foreign lands suffering the anguished 11th hour “will we”, “won’t we go”, verdicts determined by the travel traffic light system.

Some, however, are a little more adventurous and have even braved red list destinations without a moment’s thought …

For their safety … or anyone else’s.

Step forward one Miles Routledge, a 21-year-old university student who thought a touch of sightseeing in Kabul might be something to write home about.

Not that it lasted very long nor was it very wise.

Just four days after landing the Taliban organised a little housewarming party which I’m certain wasn’t on his itinerary, and he decided it was time to engage reverse gear and get the heck out. Fast.

Luckily for him, he found a seat on a military jet and was flown to safety.

Now, I can’t say that we’d be able to fly you back from the other side of the world in a crisis, but if you have a project which needs rescuing then we might be able to help with that.

Whether it’s a website which just isn’t performing or a graphic design project which feels like it’s hit a brick wall, why not give us a call – it’s what we’re here for.

If you want a sounding board or just want to bend my ear, I’m on hand for a chat about anything to do with Print or Web Design.

Stay safe.
