Range anxiety ….

It’s amusing how the meaning of words changes over time.

Years ago, range anxiety meant worrying about the next loo stop on a long car journey.

Today, it’s all about EVs and planning a long car journey to ensure there are enough charging stations along the way.

But last week, I experienced this in a roundabout way as I deliberated about going to our local business group’s monthly meeting.

And it shows how easily the most mundane of things can stop us from doing stuff if we aren’t careful.

It was quite silly really but the “should I go, shouldn’t I go” debate raged inside my head for days.

And it all revolved around Business Cards. Seriously.

At the end of every meeting we all hand out our business cards and the trouble was that I’d run out.

Subconsciously, a little voice in my head was telling me how embarrassing it would be to turn up and mumble some silly excuse about not having any with me.

And it almost stopped me from going.

I’m a printer for goodness sake. Get a grip I told myself.

Only a few hours later Judy had designed a new card for me and a short while after that, they were printed and we were on our way to the meeting.

The strangest and most mundane things can sometimes derail our plans … if we let them.

So, if you need help getting your Business Cards in a hurry, we’re here to help.

Until next time.
