Was it Fred Flintstone …?

Easter may have come and gone but it was a great opportunity to get away from the slings and arrows and get out and smell the roses.

Every year we plan a short trek and this year’s amazing weather was the perfect opportunity to get out and about.

Our destination?

A 5/6 mile walk along quiet country lanes and footpaths around the beautiful area of Cefnmeiriadog and passing the historic Cefn Caves en route.

One of only three sites in Britain to have produced fossils of ancient species of humans and the only one with fossils of classic Neanderthals who settled in Wales around 230,000 years ago.

Could Fred and Wilma Flintstone have lived here?

Probably not but we can only imagine how tough life was back then.

If you wanted to eat, you had to go and get it … or go hungry.

The lives we live now may be light years away from that period, but some things never change.

Because if we don’t make plans to grow and develop our businesses, go out and get more customers, and open up new sales channels, then we go hungry too.

It’s not complicated but it does mean handing out more business cards, sending Thank You cards, updating your sales leaflets …

So, how hungry are you?

Until next week.
